You Know the Fear, Exhaustion and Isolation of Anxiety

It can be paralyzing and leave you feeling alone and depressed. Severe anxiety from panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and hoarding disorder, can shrink your world and keep you from doing the things you want to do. Struggling with phobias, intrusive thoughts, images or impulses can be frightening and exhausting. You're not alone, and there is effective treatment that will help you get out of your head and into your life!

Remember happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have;

it depends solely on what you think. – Dale Carnegie

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help!

You may be skeptical if you've spent months or years in traditional talk therapy. Specialized treatment can make all the difference. I want to help you feel better. I offer CBT to uncover unhelpful thought patterns that are keeping you stuck, and ACT, pronounced “act,” coupled with mindfulness and self-compassion skills. We’ll do some values clarification work which will make it easier to move in the right direction and take committed action. Depending on the anxiety we may do some gradual and compassionate Exposure Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These are evidence-based treatment models that can help you get your life back. Whether you're suffering from severe anxiety, or worrying about the future or regretting the past, I can help you find more clarity and peace. I have many resources and tools to help you change or view your circumstances in a new way. The right treatment approach can help you access your full potential and lead to a fuller and more meaningful life.
